Here is a list and description of 22 private campgrounds from which one can enjoy Cape Cod.  Look at all the activities scheduled at Peter's Pond Campground in Sandwich. No visit to New England would be complete with a trip to this 4 season playground.  Golfing, fishing, whale watching, run up the sand dunes at Cape Cod National Seashore or in the Falmouth Road Race (Aug), a moonlight boat ride thru the Cape Cod Canal; visit Heritage Plantation (Sandwich), Sandwich Glass Museum; watch birds at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary or fish at the National Marine Fisheries Aquarium in Woods Hole.  You can take your RV and camp on Martha's Vineyard.
